How long is SURVIVORville?
Registration opens Thursday, July 20th. Opening night DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE is Thursday night. Empowerment sessions and evening events are Friday July 21 and Saturday July 22, 2017.

How much does is the Convention cost?
Event Registration is FREE to all survivors.
What is included in SURVIVORville’s registration?
The free registration includes Thursday, Friday and Saturday events. This includes the “Welcome to Nashville” night at the Country Music Hall of Fame, Saturday’s Grand Ole Opry. Meals include breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday, receptions, all main stage presentations on Friday and Saturday and all Empowerment Sessions.
What is NOT included in the registration?
Dinners are not included as most want to enjoy the networking time. Travel and hotel costs are not included. Hotel rooms (holding up to 4 people each) are $189 per night. Hotel registration OPEN NOW!
I know this event is for survivors, but I don’t want to come alone to Nashville! Can I invite a friend?
Absolutely! This event was created for survivors and their co-survivors, husbands or BFFs! You can share a room and split the travel costs, but everyone attending must be registered individually.
What should I wear? What may I bring?
Dress comfortably and casually, remembering that sometimes large spaces are a bit chilly. During the day, you will be moving throughout the hotel, including up and down stairs or elevators, so PLEASE wear comfortable and appropriate clothing and shoes.Don’t worry about bringing a big purse. All attendees will receive a convention bag upon arrival for all of your program materials. On Friday and Saturday, feel free to dress up a little if you’d like.

When will I receive my registration badges?
You will receive your registration badges as well as an information packet upon your arrival. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email from our offices.
I am coming alone and would like to split the cost for a room. How do I go about getting a roommate?
Roommates are GREAT ideas for those who are coming alone and wish to split room costs and have a “buddy” at the event. SURVIVORville has a Facebook page and those who wish to have a roommate are encouraged to post their requests on that page. We will remind everyone to check in that Facebook page in our weekly newsletters, so feel free to post often.
Why am I asked for my credit card when I register? I thought the convention was free!
This year, convention registration IS free for those who attend. We ask for your credit card in the case you don’t come and don’t cancel. If that is the case, we do charge your credit card for $125 to cover your costs of food and space at the event. It’s not that we are being unkind, but food costs and your space is very valuable. If you find you can’t come, that’s perfectly fine, just please let us know 30 day out and your credit card will not be charged.
What if I have special needs?
Wheelchairs, scooters, etc., are available. Please make sure you note any special needs upon room registration. Inform the hotel you are with SURVIVORville.
Is there a shuttle to and from the airport?
Yes! And it’s free! When you reserve your hotel room, please inquire to the schedule of the Millennium Maxwell House Shuttle and make your arrangements well in advance.
I am driving. What is the cost of parking at the hotel?
Hotel parking is FREE.
How do I become a sponsor?

I am a Survivor and I would like to bring my husband and/or my entire family, but he/they may not want to go to all the breakout sessions. Is there something he/they can do at the while I am at the convention?
By all means bring the entire family! In partnership with Millennium, the shuttle will drop you off anywhere up to a 3-mile radius. Please inquire when you make your reservations.
